Notes: I recently bought this 100 year old booklet because I believe it will be treasured by a Guyon-Cadillac family member or family researcher. This 160 page booklet celebrates the First Woman of Detroit, Michigan. There are photos of all of the floats in the parade, short biographical sketches of the prominent women in Detroit in 1901, ads from businesses, and biographical paragraphs on many leading businessmen. The booklet also contains a list of patrons, and a long descriptive list of the Table of Contents.

Notes: I bought this 1,070 page book because I believe it is a wonderful resource for someone with family in this county. It is in excellent condition and was reprinted in 1973 by Seward W. Lilly and Litho Printers & Bindery in Cassville, MO. There is so much information in this large book, but I will try to capture the highlights.

Notes: This is an excellent historic booklet regarding the Old Settlers of Montgomery County, Missouri. The book contains "A Brief History of the Old Settlers' Association" that was written in 1941 and contains the names of many old settlers. The next pages contain the history of the group since 1941. Another look at the Records from 1932 to 1951 gives more information. There is a letter about the 66th Annual Reunion of 1982, many historic photos of past picnics.
